Items commonly made are handmade hats, booties, afghans, quilts, sweater sets, take me home outfits and burial layettes.  We also accept gently used clothing and toys for older children who might have to endure a lengthy hospital stay. 

 

Don't feel particularly crafty?  How about putting together care boxes?  What's a care box?  It is any box (shoe box size is perfect) filled with essentials that families might need.  Trial size shampoos, conditioners, toothbrushes, soap, baby toiletries, bibs, rattles, bottles and anything else you can imagine.

 

We have some volunteers that are skilled in making birth announcements, small journals, and little picture albums.  Can you imagine the look of joy on a mothers face after receiving something like this?
