For The Love Of Babies, Inc.

Meet our fabulous Board of Directors!

Lora Hall
Hi!  I'm Lora and I live in the town of Cabool, Missouri.  I am married to a wonderful man who is very supportive of my endeavors.  We have 6 kids between us, all grown and gone so it is just us and our furbabies.  I got involved in charity crafting in 1999 and once the 'bug' bit, that was it!  I have been loving it ever since!  I was a part of a couple of other groups and what I found was disappointing so I decided that I would start my own.  We have been steadily growing since 2004.  If you love to craft and love babies, then I would like to encourage you to join our group!  We are like family here, and everyone is welcome.  Hope to see you soon!

Marie M.
Hi, I'm Marie.  I am also Lora's daughter.  I am 22 and happily married.  Hubby and I have no children but we have two adorable furbabies.  Bo is our chocolate lab and Sammy is our yellow lab.  I currently work full time at a grocery store in town, but will soon be starting classes at MSU.  I haven't decided on a major yet, but I am excited about going back to school.

Susan M.
Hi, I'm Susan.  I am married to a wonderful man, Frank and we have 5 kids between us.  We have 11 grandbabies and 2 furbabies, Maggie and Millie.  I was born in California and was raised in a military family.  I was also an RN for 30 years and retired in 1998.  I love to hand sew, embroider, and draw, basically any of the "creative" crafts. I will be getting a knitting machine soon and am so looking forward to the adventure!

Brooke S.
I am happily married with one adorable little girl.  My mind never stops trying to create something good for others.  I was a part of the banking industry for over 15 years and I am currently writing a manual pertaining to the mortgage industry.  Lora, who is also my sister, has done an outstanding job implementing this program and I am proud to be a part.

Teri Z.
I'm Teri and I live in Missouri with my husband, Rod, and 2 sons, Tim and Reggie. I work as a medical transcriptionist from my home. My family and I are all originally from Illinois but moved here to Missouri in the summer of 2001. For as long as I can remember, I have always loved to work with my hands. My grandmother got me started getting interested in crocheting. I used to see her crocheting and wanted to learn how to do the same thing and be able to make useful items. I made my first crocheted item when I was about 12 years old. It was a round crocheted rug. I learned more when I took a crochet class at a local craft store in the late 1970s. I've been crocheting on and off ever since then. When I found out that I could be a volunteer for a crafting group and crochet all kinds of things for newborn babies who are born to low-income families, I felt this was something I wanted to do by being able to help others who were not as fortunate as myself to be able to help provide the necessary baby clothing, blankets, etc. for their baby's first trip home. It just makes me feel like I've done something good for someone.

We have a GREAT group!
